Our home is located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida just to the south of Venice. It was built in 2000 to an individual design in a quiet semi-rural setting well away from any estates. It is only a short walk to Manasota Key beach, famous for sea shells and spectacular sunsets.

The villa occupies a half acre corner site and has a landscaped garden with many native plants and palms which provides total seclusion to the rear of the property. The villa has a living area of 2400sq.ft and accommodates up to eight people. The layout makes it ideal for two families. It is air conditioned throughout and all rooms have ceiling fans. There is an electrically heated pool with a covered eating area as well as ample sitting out space, all enclosed within a fine mesh screen.

Local shops and superstores are only five minutes drive away and the historic town of Venice has a range of individual shops. This is a popular area for boating and golf and there are many good restaurants. Tampa International Airport is 1½ hours drive with the Orlando theme parks less than a 2 hour drive away.
